Started getting that knot of pain (the neurologist called it some kind of neuralgia)\u00a0at the back of my head again, just like last Wednesday. I’ve taken some aspirin (just like before) and followed it up with a coffee chaser (my second pot for the day). I’ve tried putting cold back there to ease the pain, but now I’m thinking that warmth might be better. I was sorely tempted to lay my half-filled coffee cup along the spot where the pain is – not the best of ideas. And, as you can probably guess, I’m feeling the numbness in my face and arm again. It really never went away; I had just gotten used to it since it was simply – numb. But it’s tingling now, just like last week, and seems to be spreading across my lips. I do not need this!!<\/p>\n
Been working on Overtures<\/em> 19. I’m at a good stopping point, but I think I need to continue a bit more. I just don’t know what the reaction of the family to Jeff’s announcement would be – except for Virgil’s. I want Penelope to confront Jeff at some point after this, and an interaction with Lou as well. We’ll see how it goes. The only thing I know is that none of the people involved would up and leave without making some kind of comment to Jeff. And now that I’ve brought it up here, I have the next line! Woo Hoo!<\/p>\n Posted my challenge fic, Hiatus<\/em>, at ff.net. I think it came out well, though it hasn’t had too many reviews. I’ve got a couple of possibilities for sequel\/more story, in my head… just too many plot bunnies running around, and too many scenes from the stories in progress as well.<\/p>\n I’ve got to pick up Boy #2 in about an hour, and the Girl a half hour later. Boy #1 has his afterschool thing today, so he’ll bus home. I feel like I should take a nap, but I have to make the bed first.
