I’m doing the ML thing again with two others. We get to have in-person events again; so happy about that!<\/p>\n
Our Kick-Off was breezy and a bit chilly but it went well! Chatnano.net isn’t working too well right now–no Timmy the word war bot to help out. I’m gonna miss those velociraptors and the occasional defenestration (virtually, of course). We set up a Discord server with help from a fellow ML (or ML emeritus). The region’s first virtual write-in started at midnight and netted me 847 “words”. I seriously have to go through to massage them into coherency. I think a lot of my writing this year will be speech-to-text. My fingers just don’t stay on the keyboard, especially if I try to type fast or without backspacing (which I’ve done a lot of here).<\/p>\n
Fanfiction is my thing this year. I’m going to try and finish Burning Muses<\/em>. Then I have two Thunderbirds Are Go<\/em> stories waiting in the wings. And if that’s not enough, a Doctor Who fanfic–my first!<\/p>\n A lot to do, along with all the ML duties!
