Notes and disclaimer:<\/strong> I wrote this story for a challenge on the long-defunct fanfics.org. The challenge was dealing with the New Year’s resolutions that the Thunderbirds characters might make. To me, the most obvious one was Gordon promising to stop pranking his family, so I used this as my challenge prompt. Though a penchant for pulling pranks is found in both Thunderbirds Are Go!<\/em> (Marriott, John. Boxtree, London, 1992. Print.) and The Complete Book of Thunderbirds<\/em> (Bentley, Chris. Carlton,\u00a0London, 2001. Print), it’s never really shown in canon. It has, however, become a fanon staple. My goal was to post a chapter a day up to, and including, New Years day–a goal I reached. At one point, the characters took the plot out of my hands and took it in a direction I had not originally intended and the narrative was the better for it.<\/p>\n
