It looks like Twenty-Fourteen may be the ticket for the site. It’s not perfect; I can’t put up a proper header image as the height is far too small to get the image I want. My menus keep disappearing for no reason that I can fathom, and since I’m a total php noob (and a near total CSS noob as well), I’m going to look for something that will stick when I set up the menus. It also may make a decision I’ve been contemplating: whether or not to publish all my fanfiction here or just link to my fanfiction.net account. Any suggestions?
Totally, utterly derailed by the whirlwind preparations for a parental visit. Cleaning took most of the week as did rearranging furniture to make way for a gift of a new-to-us dining room set (gifted to us by aforementioned parental units). I might be premature and totally wrong about the derailment. Perhaps once the ‘rents are gone and the kitchen faucet is replaced, I’ll have time to make up my word count. Perhaps. We’ll see.

I tried working on my novels and other works-in-progress during April’s Camp session but quickly got behind. So, I gave up. April is just not the best month for me to write.
