Some of you may know that I live in the northwest corner of South Carolina. Well, a hurricane came through about 10 days ago. She hit us hard — not as bad as Western North Carolina — but hard enough to cause flooding, uproot trees, and leave us in the dark for a week. Even now, my cable company is still working on restoring service to the area. (I’m using my phone’s hotspot on my tablet to write this. Its keyboard is better.)

Of course, when I don’t have the ability to do anything, my muse pokes me and reminds me I should edit more of Serendipity. So here I am, writing a quick blog post and about to dive back in.
