That I’ve been posting more of The White Winds lately. Not so much for this site but for my account at AO3 (An Archive Of Our Own). Some of my followers there have been asking for it and I’m finally in a head-space to oblige.

Life has been depressing lately. I’ve fallen four times this year; not bad enough to break anything, but painful enough for me to start using my cane more consistently. I’ve had to add a nephrologist to my medical care team and am going back to PT starting this week. Money has been tight! My husband has not been getting the kind of OT we need; his employer doesn’t want to pay time-and-a-half to those at the top of the pay scale. I have tremors in my hands and figure I’m going to have to start using voice-to-text software in order to actually write anything, including finishing my works-in-progress.  We had to send one of our kitties, Kami, over the Rainbow Bridge in May. She was 14.

So, all in all, it’s been rough. I think, however, I may be climbing out of the abyss. We’ll see how it goes.
