50038!

I just realize that the NaNoWriMo Word Count Widget no longer exists! Because, if it did, it would tell you that I reached the goal of 50K! Woo hoo!

It was a rough last week and a half, trying to catch up when I let things slide so badly. On the 19th, I wrote over 5K, which gave me a good boost, with another 4K the next day. I didn’t make it to too many write-ins (a perk of not being ML this year!). In fact, at one of them, I was the only one there! Thanksgiving got in the way, but not like you’d think. The only day we could all get together was Wednesday evening, which meant I had to do most of the cooking. We had ham instead of turkey as it was easier on me, and I got my pies and casserole done early, too. We’ll be having turkey tomorrow instead.

I am determined to fix this one up, which means actually finishing the story and keeping up with writing every day. That’s not an easy task, but it should be easier if I do what I’ve intended to do all along: split my writing time with my workout time. (Workouts fell by the wayside all month, mostly because I’m also making Christmas gifts this year! Oy!)

In any case, I’ve finished and won NaNoWriMo for the year.  Now to keep up the writing in 2020!
