Ugh…. I hate colds!!!! Or whatever this is….
Nasty, nasty, nasty! The congestion had just gotten worse and worse until this afternoon I couldn’t sit down and breathe. Or drink. I was getting very frustrated, grumpy, and more than a little scared. The only way I could even partially clear my sinuses was to get up and walk around.
Finally, at the Girl’s insistence, I called my GP and made an appointment for tomorrow morning. And while I was at it, I talked to her nurse, who told me that the only decongestant I could take was Sudafed. So, out I went to buy some, along with a package of Puffs with lotion to spare my poor nose, some saline solution to help clear out the congestion from the outside, some more DCT for my chapped lips, and, most important of all, some cinnamon Altoids. Yeah, I know they have sugar in them, but at this point, I don’t care. No other candy in the world can help clear one’s sinuses like they do! (And they’re about the only thing I can taste right now.)
Things have gotten better since this afternoon. And I got some good news; I had bid on a set of five TB vehicles from the show and won them at the original asking price.
