Notes and disclaimer: The first chapter was written for the TB character challenge at now defunct fanfics.org. The muse Polyhymnia is the muse of Sacred Poetry, but is also considered the muse of geometry, which is as close as you can get to engineering. I wasn’t going to add more as the little bit about Brains is complete in itself. Yet, as I looked at it, I saw that there might be others for whom the muses might be applicable. The third chapter is partially based on my own oldest son, whose obsession with critters of all kinds is legendary in our house. I kept the identity of the final character under wraps and I have continued that here. The fifth chapter percolated for a while until a family wedding gave me a hook. Thanks to go ThatGirlSix, Lillehafrue, and my late friend, Hobbeth, for betareading chores.

I didn’t create them; Gerry and Sylvia Anderson did. I don’t own them, ITV/Granada does. I’m just writing about them.
