I’ve signed up for this year’s NaNoWriMo already. For the past few months, I’ve had this fantasy going on in my head about a djinn ending up with a woman whose ideas of what’s right and proper as far as wishes go are foreign to it. The title is The Moon Djinn and I’m excited to start writing it! Maybe this time I’ll be a planner or at least a plantser and can get the whole thing finished in November….
So far, I’m keeping just above the daily word count goal. The story has developed a romantic turn, to an extent, and when this is through, I’m going to have a helluva lot of research to do! Been working on coding things for my personal fiction site. I’ve finished and posted Mosaic – though that will be updated when the muse strikes – and I’m working on The White Winds. We’ve hardly had any trick or treaters come to our door tonight and we bought lots and lots of candy to give out. Got out to WalMart tonight and bought myself some more Russell Stover’s sugar-free chocolate. They still didn’t have the caramel drops I love so dearly, but the coconut ones were back, hurray!
