It’s a quiet afternoon

The boys are gone to Bible club and the girl and I are just sitting around. She’s reading and I’m writing. The White Winds chapter 5 is coming along nicely; I’m probably 2/3 done with it. I’m beginning to get ideas for a sequel to Turnabout, which I’m sure C will love. A scene comes to mind where Christa is about to give birth and they’re trying to think of names for the baby. It will be a hoot, no matter what I do with it. Don’t want to give too much away, though.

The toe is looking much, much better. The swelling is pretty much gone, and so is the majority of the bruising. Just one bright red spot where the break is. I’m still trying to stay off it as much as possible. But I have to put in some laundry or we won’t have any clean clothes to wear. Need to get some lunch in me, too.

C is working on my picture! I can hardly wait to see what she does!
